The medal is associated with the devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, a Marian devotion originating from the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Laboure in 1830 in Paris, France.
Design
Front: An image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with rays of light streaming from her outstretched hands, symbolizing the graces she bestows upon those who ask. Around this image is the inscription, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee", a reference to the dogma of the Immaculate Conception.
Back: The reverse side features a large "M" surmounted by a cross, with two hearts below, the Sacred Heart of Jesus crowned with thorns and the Immaculate Heart of Mary pierced by a sword. This side may also include twelve stars, representing the twelve apostles.
Purpose and devotion
The Miraculous Medal is believed to bring special graces to those who wear it with faith. According to tradition, those who wear the medal, particularly after it has been blessed by a priest, will receive the protection and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Many Catholics wear the medal daily as a sign of their faith and devotion to Mary. It is often given as a gift for religious milestones such as baptisms, confirmations or first communions.

Faulty or defective items

If you receive a faulty or defective item, please contact us at info@holygrace.com.au as soon as possible, preferably within 7 working days of receiving your order. We will assess the issue and provide a remedy in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law. The 7-working-day contact request does not limit those rights. Damage caused by loss, accidental damage, mistreatment, modifications to the design, or exposure to perfume, hairspray, water or other agents is not covered by our workmanship guarantee; this does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
For an eligible refund, we process the refund within 3 days after we receive and approve the returned item.
